From pickleball courts and a fishing lake to an inclusive, Arizona-themed playground, the new Frontier Family Park offers something for everyone and officially opened this morning, June 8.
The new park is located at 20039 S. 220th St. and includes a variety of features that are designed to enrich the quality of life in Queen Creek.
Frontier Family Park offers an extensive array of amenities, including 10 ramadas, 24 pickleball courts, two basketball courts, two sand volleyball courts, six ballfields and three multi-purpose fields.
Reservations for these amenities are now open, with rentals available starting on Monday, June 10. Interested individuals can check availability and pricing at QueenCreekAZ.gov/FacilityRentals. Ramadas and sport courts can be reserved either in person or online, offering the flexibility to book up to 365 days in advance. However, reservations for fields must be completed in person at the Recreation Annex, located at 21802 S. Ellsworth Road.
Of the 24 pickleball courts, eight are available to reserve, the remaining 16 are open play (not reservable).
