The Thunderbirds, hosts of the WM Phoenix Open, are excited to host the Concert in the Coliseum for the third-straight year. This unique concert inside one of sport’s most famous settings welcomes global superstar Post Malone this year with special guests ERNEST and DeeJay Silver to kick off the event.
Here is a guide to everything you need to know to prepare yourself before you go to the official WM Phoenix Open kick off this Saturday, Feb. 3.
This is a 21-plus event. People under the age of 21 are unable to attend even if accompanied by an adult. Patrons go through the main tournament entrance. There will be several outstanding activation areas along the Walk to 16. Music, drinks and merchandise await. There is a bag policy, refer to the 2024 WMPO Security Procedures link: 2024 WMPO Security Procedures.
All parking is self-parking in Lot 3. Follow event signage. Show your Concert in the Coliseum wristband or ticket for access to parking area (separate parking passes are not issued for the concert). Rideshare for the Concert in the Coliseum will be in Lot 6. (Note: this is different than tournament week Rideshare, which will be at Westworld.) ADA golf cart shuttles will be available under the Hayden Bridge for those with disabilities. See the 2024 WMPO Parking Map.
For those locating a suite inside Skybox 16, refer to Suite number only. Branding of the suites is for the golf tournament and not representative of suite ownership during the Concert in the Coliseum. They encourage everyone to dress warmly and wear conservative footwear.
Saturday, Feb. 3 schedule
3 p.m. – Gates open
3:30 to 8:30 p.m. – Food service, small plate food stations
3:30 p.m. – Bar service begins
4:15 p.m. – DeeJay Silver
6:15 p.m. – ERNEST
7:45 p.m. – Post Malone
There are a couple of after-party choices when the concert has concluded. The Princess after-party is open to all Post Malone concertgoers. The event does not require a ticket. The venue will feature an expanded footprint, live entertainment, DJ, food activations and bottle service. Shuttles will be available and waiting to take you and your friends to the Princess after-party. Option two is the new DraftKings Sportsbook at TPC Scottsdale. It is located near the Concert in the Coliseum entrance/exit and will host pre- and post- Concert in the Coliseum parties.
The 2024 WM Phoenix Open will take place Feb. 5-11 at TPC Scottsdale. “The People’s Open” was named Tournament of the Year at the 2023 PGA TOUR annual meetings, garnering the award for the fifth time to acknowledge the tournament’s legendary status as one the most unique events in golf. Scottie Scheffler is the defending champ, (won in 2022 and 2023) and has the rare opportunity to achieve only the second three-peat in WM Phoenix Open history since Arnold Palmer (1961-63). The 2024 edition will mark the 89th playing of the event (one of the five oldest events on the PGA TOUR) and the 15th with WM as title sponsor.
