Friend of the Week: Sweet Bean is playful, seeks human interaction

He is house trained and is working with volunteers on his leash manners and basic commands. He is living at Friends for Life's adoption center, located at 952 W. Melody Ave. in Gilbert, and patiently waiting for someone to come and fall in love with him.

Bean is a sweet 4-year-old, 16-pound Chihuahua blend who joined Friends for Life Animal Rescue recently by way of the Humane Society of Yuma.

He's a little shy when he first meets people and seems to have led a little bit of a sheltered life. Once Bean warms up, he is playful and seeks human interaction. He is treat-motivated and does well with puppy puzzles and enrichment games.
