Friend of the Week: Handsome Beetlejuice is very smart, polite, quiet

Beetlejuice is neutered, microchipped, licensed and current on vaccinations. His adoption fee is $95.

Beetlejuice is a nice 6-year-old boy. He came back to Friends for Life Animal Rescue recently when he was found as a stray and his owner’s information was outdated.

This little 10-pound boy is residing in a foster home and thriving. His foster family says that Beetle is a perfect guest. He is house trained and knows the dog door or if you say "outside" he goes right to the door. He is a very polite and very quiet dog. Not only that, but he is a smart guy and will look to his humans for direction. He follows commands that are given to him.

Beetle sleeps through the night in his bed on the floor. He would also prefer to sleep with humans if given the chance. The foster family lets him have full reign of the house, and he is well behaved when they are gone. He gets along well with the other dogs in the home. Beetle had all but five teeth removed at his dental two weeks ago, so he only has his canines. He needs to be on a soft food-only diet, per the veterinarian. If children are in the home those that are 16 years or over are best as younger children make him nervous.

Beetlejuice is neutered, microchipped, licensed and current on vaccinations. His adoption fee is $95. Email [email protected] to meet him. Friends for Life Animal Rescue is located at 952 W. Melody Ave. in Gilbert. Visit azfriends.org or call 480-497-8296 for more information.
