The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) advises drivers who use Ellsworth Road near the intersection of State Route 24 (Gateway Freeway) should prepare for the following restrictions from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 8 for bridge work:
- Southbound Ellsworth Road will be closed between the SR 24 on- and off-ramps. As a detour, drivers may use Elliot Road to southbound Loop 202 to SR 24 to access Ellsworth Road.
- Northbound Ellsworth Road between the SR 24 on- and off-ramps will be narrowed to one lane.
ADOT said drivers should use caution and be prepared to slow down and merge safely when approaching and traveling through any work zones.
