Mountain View Funeral Home will host its annual Easter Sunday Sunrise Service in partnership with Broadway Christian Church at 6 a.m. on April 20.
The event, open to the public and held on the funeral home’s grounds at 7900 E. Main St., offers a time for quiet reflection and remembrance for those experiencing grief during the holiday season.
"As we move through the holidays, grief can often feel like an invisible weight, and Easter is no exception," said Elisa Krcilek, vice president at Mountain View Funeral Home. "This Sunrise Service is not just about coming together — it’s a chance to embrace the light after the darkness, to honor our loved ones, and to lean into the support of a compassionate community."
John Klundt, lead pastor at Broadway Christian Church, said the message of Easter offers hope in difficult times.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs. The event is open to people of all faiths.
Mountain View Funeral Home, which has served the East Valley community for decades, offers a range of grief support services and hosts community-focused events throughout the year.
