East Valley residents needed for Make a Difference Day; register by Oct. 1

The Apache Junction Community Development Corporation (AJCDC) invites community members to join the sixth annual “Make a Difference Day” on Saturday, Oct. 5.

This event is a great opportunity for residents of all ages and abilities to come together and make a positive impact through various volunteer projects, including native tree planting, trail maintenance, debris removal, neighborhood clean-ups, and rock painting for kids.

The event will run from 8 a.m. to noon at Silly Mountain Park, located at 3565 S. Silly Mountain Road in Apache Junction. 

Volunteers are encouraged to arrive by 7:45 a.m. to sign in and receive their t-shirt.

Volunteer registration is open and can be completed here. Register by Oct. 1.
