Celebrate Parks & Recreation Month with free root beer floats July 9

In addition, you can get involved in the town fun by joining the Live, Play, Learn team, as Queen Creek is currently hiring for part-time recreation aides.

The National Recreation and Park Association has celebrated July as the official Parks and Recreation Month since 1985. This year's theme — “Where You Belong” — celebrates the many ways parks and recreation foster a sense of belonging in the community by providing welcoming and inclusive programs, services for all ages and abilities, and safe, accessible spaces to build meaningful connections.

Cool off and celebrate Park and Recreation Month from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 9 when residents are invited to join the Queen Creek Parks and Recreation Team at the Queen Creek Library, located at 21802 S. Ellsworth Road, to learn more about classes, events and upcoming projects available around town while enjoying free root beer floats.

In addition, you can get involved in the town fun by joining the Live, Play, Learn team, as Queen Creek is currently hiring for part-time recreation aides. Learn more and apply at QueenCreekAZ.gov/jobs.
