Arizona State University is hosting an event called "Build an Educational Pathway to Your Future Career" on Saturday, April 30 at the Polytechnic Campus near Queen Creek to help local students plan their future.
The Queen Creek Unified School District encourages students to attend and help them plan now to build a career and academic journey that aligns with their purpose. Set yourself up for success in this collaboration of Mesa Chamber of Commerce members and ASU’s College of Integrative Sciences and Arts (CISA) academic support teams at ASU Polytechnic campus.
Whether you’re a prospective college student, on a pathway to ASU, or already pursuing an ASU degree, this Saturday workshop is a great investment in planning your future.
The workshop will be from 9:45 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the ASU Polytechnic Campus in Mesa, 7001 E. Williams Field Road.
Program agenda:
- 10 a.m. - Welcome and breakfast.
- 10:30 a.m. - Career Pathing: Tips and toolkit to get yourself career-ready.
- 11:20 a.m. - Educational Pathing: Possible academic journeys to reach your dream.
- Noon - Brand YOU: Representing yourself in resumes, compelling personal statements and interview.
- 12:40 p.m. - Lunch provided.
- 1:20 p.m. - Paying for College: Funding and Scholarships.
- 2 p.m. - Closing remarks.
- 2:30 p.m. - Optional tour of Polytechnic campus.
