Queen Creek firm recognized as a top 30 branding agency in Arizona

A Queen Creek-based branding, marketing and creative firm was named one of the top branding agencies in Arizona by DesignRush, a B2B digital marketplace.

Andy Brenits, chief creative strategist and founder of Brenits Creative, said DesignRush reached out to him after they had received anonymous positive feedback about the firm.

“It was a great surprise. I was really honored to hear that I was recognized as one of the top branding agencies in Arizona," he said.

Brenits has worked in branding for almost 30 years, both for himself and for brands like GAP and Banana Republic.

Originally from New York, he and his wife frequently visited her parents in Queen Creek. When they moved to Arizona in 2012 they looked at Gilbert, Scottsdale and Chandler, but they ultimately chose to live in Queen Creek.

“Every time we visited, we fell in love with the town. Everybody seems happy and relaxed and the cost of living was lower so when an opportunity came up to accept a new job with Arizona Public Service we said ‘Why not? Let’s go.’”

Brenits said Power Road was still only one lane in some places when they moved to town.

He struck back out on his own in 2015 and started Brenits Creative. The firm helps growing businesses and business owners who work for themselves compete with main brands.

Brenits Creative has clients all over the country, though many are in Arizona. The firm works mostly with small business owners, mostly in the medical, health wellness and technical industries. He also works with a lot of authors.

“I am the only employee, but I am not a team of one. I have a whole slew of writers, photographers and other designers that I work with on a regular basis. When I work with a client I put together the right team with the right talent.”

“It’s kind of a virtual agency model and it’s one that is very quickly growing as people are looking to reduce overhead and have a wide variety of work,” Brenits said. “I’ve been doing it since before COVID.”

Two programs that Brenits Creative offers are “BrandStorming,” which helps business owners do a deep dive into what they stand for and develop a strategy and “Pick-My-Brain,” which is a short brainstorming session for business owners who aren’t ready for a big project.
