Pedal Haus Brewery’s 4th Valley location set to open this fall

Local award-winning brewery to open in downtown Mesa in the former iconic Pit Stop autobody shop space. This will be the fourth Pedal Haus Brewery for founder Julian Wright and the first Pedal Haus location to offer its renowned beers in cans available for takeout.

Pedal Haus Brewery has announced its newest location will open this fall in downtown Mesa, at 201 E. Main St., in the former iconic Pit Stop autobody shop space. This will be the fourth Pedal Haus Brewery for founder Julian Wright.

“We are looking forward to debuting this new concept for Pedal Haus – the “biergarten” – which will provide a largely outdoor space for people to enjoy great beer, delicious food, lawn games, live music and more,” said Wright.

This will be Pedal Haus’ first “biergarten” concept focused around a massive 6,000-square-foot, dog-friendly patio, which will offer visitors a park-like feel complete with an indoor-outdoor bar, fire pits and a stage for live music. The interior will be 2,300 square feet. The brewery restaurant will preserve many of the original autobody shop’s Modernist “Googie Style” design features, such as the floating ‘V’ awning.

“Downtown Mesa is the perfect location for Pedal Haus’ new biergarten,” said Mesa Mayor John Giles. “It will add a new dimension to our growing local brewery scene. I’m excited to check out the festive atmosphere, live music, great food and more.”

Fans of Pedal Haus will be able to enjoy all the brewery’s true-to-style beers on tap as well as the popular cocktails. Expect favorite signature dishes such as Brewer’s Board, Bavarian Pretzel with beer cheese and maple butter, Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich and the popular burgers. Guests can also look forward to Pedal Haus’ weekend brunch with gourmet brunch eats and brunch booze specials.

The new Mesa venue will be the first Pedal Haus location to offer its renowned beers in cans available for takeout.

Pedal Haus Brewery has been gaining notoriety in the local craft beer scene since 2015 when it opened its first location on Mill Avenue in Tempe. Since then, the popular brewery has won over 40 medals and awards, including a silver medal for best international light lager for the Day Drinker Light Lager at the 2024 World Beer Cup, plus multiple gold medals at the 2023 Arizona Craft Beer Awards, including Brewery of the Year.
