Unlike other local businesses recently, Schnepf Farms has been successful in hiring some key players to help revamp its promenade gift shops just in time for the farm's second Agritainment Park March 10-April 3.
"We continue to hire incredible people to our farm family and Denine Pauley is one of them. She's our new merchandise manager and is responsible for making our little shops come to life on the promenade," said Carrie Schnepf. "With the Agritainment Park opening this weekend, we will be premiering our new gift shops she's been busy working on. She's gone to all the gift shows and we're redeveloping all our shops that will be open on Saturdays and Sundays. The new gift shop looks like an old general store you grew up going to with all those old candy selections and little wooden toys. I'm so excited for everyone to see it."
The new shops on the promenade include the Schnepf Farms Gift Shop, Candy Shop, The Garden Center, Toy Shoppe and Glow Shop and offer fun items for all ages.
Regular farm hours are from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday through Sunday. The Agritainment Park is open from 4 to 10 p.m. Thursday through Friday and from noon to 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Tickets are available at schnepffarms.com and with rising gas prices, they're offering $5 off tickets if you use the code "GasHelp." Seniors, military and first responders get discounts at the door.
Schnepf Farms is located in Queen Creek at 24810 S. Rittenhouse Road.
