New business developments popping up around Queen Creek

It's been a busy summer with new business developments continuing to pop up all around town.

It's been a busy summer with new business developments continuing to pop up all around Queen Creek.

In June, Queen Creek Councilmember Jeff Brown said the lease was signed for a Safeway, complete with "fuel Islands," to anchor the Harvest Station retail complex currently under development at the southwest corner of the newly constructed intersection of Riggs and Gary roads.

Expected to be completed in late 2025, Harvest Station is directly adjacent to the Harvest Queen Creek residential development and Acero Harvest Station, a 204-unit, garden-style apartment community offering one-, two- and three-bedroom apartment homes, that celebrated its grand opening in December. Located across the street from Schnepf Farms and the Queen Creek Olive Mill, Harvest Station is currently leasing for other retail and restaurants to occupy spaces available at the Safeway-anchored mixed use development.

Next up, Brown said First Watch will officially be taking over the old Panera location in the Queen Creek Marketplace, located at 21398 S. Ellsworth Loop Road, while another popular breakfast joint, Eggstasy, will join the current development located at the southeast corner of Ellsworth Loop and Rittenhouse roads.

Not to be out done in the breakfast\lunch category, Toasted Yolk Cafe is coming soon to the corner of Riggs and Ellsworth roads, according to the Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce.

To round out the list, Brown said Farmer Boys Restaurant with a drive-thru lane is being proposed for the Spur Cross retail complex, located at the northeast corner of Signal Butte and Ocotillo roads.
