Queen Creek got its first hotel almost a year ago when Hampton Inn opened in December 2020, just before Christmas.
All Hiltons and Hampton Inns are franchises, and the Queen Creek Hampton Inn is owned by Arizona hotel management company, HD Hospitality.
“This is our second Hampton by Hilton product and we were so excited to be able to bring the first hotel to Queen Creek,” said Samantha Stallings, corporate director of operations and sales with HD Hospitality.
HD Hospitality also owns a Hampton Inn and Suites in Gilbert.
“There really was a need that we saw as a hotel development and management company. There needed to be a hotel there. The growth over time in Queen Creek is really such a large part of the Valley,” Stallings said. “Queen Creek is one of the 10 top growing places in the Valley and it is a beautiful town, a family town. Hilton is a great brand and we are so excited that we got to bring it there.”
She noted that Queen Creek has become a destination because of event venues like Horseshoe Park and the Olive Mill, and because of the weddings that happen in the town. Stallings said a lot of brides stay at Hampton Inn Queen Creek, adding that having a local hotel helps the community overall.
“When people can stay in the town they stay longer and they eat in the restaurants and go shopping, and it helps bring some tourism to Queen Creek as well,” Stallings said.
There are 107 rooms and about 35 employees. Stallings said there are openings for more.
Hampton Inn Queen Creek is located at 20768 E. Maya Road.
