Hunger isn’t just about being hungry. It’s about food insecurity, or not having regular access to safe, affordable and nutritious foods. According to St. Mary’s Food Bank, as many as one in seven people and about one in four children in Arizona experience hunger or do not have regular access to safe, affordable and nutritious foods.
