Furniture retailer Ashley is opening its ninth store in the greater Phoenix area in Queen Creek this weekend with a grand opening event for the public on Saturday, Jan. 20.
Tomorrow's grand opening, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., will feature photo moments, a live DJ, face painting, light refreshments from local vendors, gift bags, workshops and giveaway prizes drawn every hour. The first 50 guests in line will receive a free pair of Bose headphones and all guests in line by 10 a.m. will have a chance to be one of 10 selected winners to leave with a Nest Mini (second generation) Smart Speaker with Google Assistant. The grand prize is a RadRunner 2 Electric Utility Bike. Guests will also be offered $50 off qualifying purchases of $500 or more. Workshops will include building custom reed diffusers with Candle Chemistry and key holders with Deco Ink Designs. Sign-ups for the workshops can be found here.

The Queen Creek store showroom is 34,986 square feet and features the company’s newest layout plan and technology, including interior architectural design with the company's 7.0 store concept, a design approach that features more spacious layouts and fewer accessories to better emphasize the furniture. Customers will experience a simplified, bright and open floor plan, making it easy to find the perfect pieces of furniture for their homes.

Ashley's new Queen Creek store showcases the newest mattress gallery, featuring Ashley Sleep, Tempur-Pedic and Purple mattresses. The showroom features complete lifestyle vignettes, down to the final detail of lighting, rugs and wall art. Product categories include bedroom, dining room, upholstery, leather, occasional tables, home office, youth bedroom, recliners, mattresses and accessories.

The Queen Creek Ashely is located at 20078 S. Ellsworth Road, in the Queen Creek Crossing shopping center, and will employ approximately 24 people. The new store will be open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturdays, and from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sundays.
